What We’ll Explore
• How asana prepares the body for pranayama
• The relationship between posture, breath, and prāṇic flow
• Foundational pranayama practices (calming, energizing, cleansing)
• Supporting nervous system regulation and mental clarity
• Building a simple, sustainable home practice
• Pranayama as a bridge toward citta vṛtti nirodhaḥ — quieting the fluctuations of the mind

About the Practice
Prāṇa is the life force that animates all living systems.
Prāṇāyāma is the expansion and refinement of that life force within.
Through the Iyengar method, we prepare the body carefully — creating clarity in the spine, ribs, and diaphragm — so that the breath can move with ease and intelligence.
This is a subtle, powerful practice. I look forward to exploring it with you.
