This is a free restorative yoga class open to beginners and will be sequenced to bring you toward deep release and calm. We will work in postures that soothe the nervous system and I will introduce some accessible pranayama (breath extension) to leave you with excellent practical tools for moving through fear/anxiety and back to your trusty knowing body.
If you cannot make this class time, register regardless and you'll receive a link to a recording of the class once this is complete.
For your zoom class be set up with a few props (could be household items if you don't have yoga props)
- a computer, tablet or smart phone
- A yoga mat
- Ideally some clear wall space (put your back against a wall and spread your arms and legs wide)
- A sturdy household chair, or yoga chair
- 4 tightly woven yoga blankets or blankets
- A yoga strap or neck tie (yoga strap is ideal if you have one)
- This is a led class so you can choose to have your camera on your device on or off.
